The Wedding and Reception

The wedding and reception was completed without a hitch! The wedding went smoothly - more or less - as did the photos and the reception at China Palace. Everyone had a great time and on such a happy day!

The Photographer
As you can tell from the photo above, our photographer is Daniel Usenko. We originally wanted the same photographer as Hanh's sister but he wasn't available. We did a desperate search for another one and found many dreadful ones where, frankly, I could have done a better job. The photographer we wanted suggested a number of people, one of which was Daniel. We like his portfolio on his website and decided he would be the right person to capture this day.

After the day was done, he promised to put up some photos to show what he had done for us. This is my favorite:

I had also wanted to replicate some scenes from some movies. Fortunately, Hanh indulged me:

You can see more of the photos on his blog.

Honeymoon in Kruger!!

Hanh wanted to go to South Africa for our honeymoon so I had her select and make arrangements with the lodge and I would take care of the flights. The last safari I was on entailed an SUV and tents which I don't think is what she wanted.

She found and chose Buhala Game Lodge which is an English style safari lodge on the Crocodile River. Instead of making everyone see the few hundred photos, I whittled it down to 50 or 60 here.
